Bio

Jacquelyn Strycker was born in Metuchen, NJ and has lived and worked in New York, San Francisco, Philadelphia, and Rome. In 2003 she received her BA in Visual Arts from Columbia University and in 2007, she received her MFA from Tyler School of Art. She has taught woodcut, etching, lithography, silkscreen and digital courses at Temple University and Columbia University. She is presently the Director of Operations of the MFA Art Practice program at the School of Visual Arts, and the Director of Summer-long Projects for FIGMENT NYC. She lives and has a studio in Brooklyn, and is pursuing projects in New York.
